ABOUT 1807 DESIGN
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
BRAND STREET
We loved the subtle traditional elements of this home, and wanted to preserve the beautiful character in the design while giving this home a much needed update. This was achieved through items such as ornate mouldings and trim, bevelled tiles and cabinets fronts, which worked perfectly with the crisp clean lines of the new space.
The home is now open and airy, and although the upholstery is light we made sure to select high performance fabrics and textures which would be extremely durable for this family of five.
The use of bright area rugs and fun patterns help to bring colour to the space, while mementos such as photographs of travel and historic items passed down are scattered throughout, reinforcing the warm character of this well loved home.
