A vibrant household of five plus their furry companion, entrusted us with the renovation of their craftsman style home located in the lively Kitsilano neighbourhood. Guided by their love for entertaining and a laid-back contemporary aesthetic, the extensive renovation transformed their residence. With the kitchen as the heart of the home, we introduced a spacious 12-foot quartz island where the family could gather for cooking and dining. Balancing a neutral palette with touches of contrast, oak finished cabinets and bespoke rolled steel and glass divided-lite sliding doors became standout features. Not only visually appealing, these doors also provide privacy to the bedrooms on the second floor. The main floor boasts an airy ambiance with light wide plank European oak flooring, while incorporating elements of slow living to create a cool and sophisticated atmosphere.
